In partnership with the Biagi Vinery, historical partner of our project, we had the idea of an exclusive appointment on 17, 18 and 19 June, to make the public aware of the extraordinary organoleptic qualities of Vini d’Altura Wines. The natural location of the dense program is the Gran Sasso, at the highest point reachable by car: the 2130masl of the Ostello di Campo Imperatore.
The program is rich and for all tastes. In summary, it will begin on Saturday with a short trail from the panoramic B&B Scacciapensieri in Colledara to the 2388m of the Duca degli Abruzzi Refuge with lunch and tasting of Vini d’Altura. In the evening, a dinner in Wine & Food pairing at the Ostello di Campo Imperatore with a selection of Vini d’Altura from different Italian regions. Sunday morning we will open with the Walking Meeting at high altitude “Via ad Salinas”, dedicated to Transhumance and Slow Tourism. After the Press Conference and the comparative Masterclass, an opportunity for sommeliers and winelovers to analyze the transformations that take place in the Vini d’Altura, it will be the turn of the not-to-be-missed highlight of the three days on the Gran Sasso: the Gala Lunch organized by Accademia Niko Romito, Michelin 3-starred Chef in pairing with Vini d’Altura, only 40 seats by reservation.
